It's Shear Madness!

Ella's "First" Haircut

Before her haircut

After her haircut

We took Ella finally for her "first" haircut after 3 1/2 years. My mom actually cut her hair without my knowing. So technically this would be her second haircut but this is the first one that John & I saw. We took her to a cute place called Shear Madness. They have different cars and planes that the kids can sit in while getting their haircut. Ella of course chose the Cinderella Car. Also while getting their haircut they can watch a DVD. Which Ella chose too watch Barbie Princess & the Pauper. We didn't get much cut off because I don't want too lose those cute curls. It was a great and fun "first" (technically second) haircut.

Soccer Tots

Well we tried Ella in Soccer again. She did a lot better this time not being scared of the ball and she was one of the younger kids there out of 30. After we left we asked what she liked best gymnastics, dance or soccer and she said soccer. So maybe she we will be a soccer player instead of a dancer.

Human Foosball

Hudson loves kicking the soccer ball especially when Daddy is using him as a human foosball.

Fun Crib Time

I was changing the sheets in Hudson's crib while the kids were in there playing. When Ella asked if she could play in the crib with Hudson. I said sure if she really wanted too and she was all excited and Hudson was never more excited to get in his crib.

Deanna "Doesn't smell like a" Rose Farmstead

Ella & Mya Holding Hands
Were so excited!
Ella was really excited to ride the ponies. After she got off the horse she said "Now can we ride the cows?"
Stroller babies, Brody & Hudson

Feeding the baby goats bottles. They kept backing Ella into the fence.
Poor Brody & Hudson were stuck in the strollers, but they did talk to each other and share snacks.
Ella learning to milk a cow
Both girls were really excited about the chickens, I am not sure why. So they enjoyed feeding them. Ella gave them one tiny piece of food at a time.
Playing at the playground
Ella, Hudson and I went to the Deanna Rose Farm with my cousin Amber her little girl Mya and Ashley's little boy Brody. It was a great weather to be outside walking around enjoying the smell of farm animals. Ella did better this time feeding and petting the animals she wasn't as scared of the animals. The kids all did really good considering none of them had naps. The only problem was they were having too much fun they didn't want to leave.

You Can Dance, You Can Jive......

.......Having the time of your life.

Yeah! Ella went to her first dance class last night. She had so much fun dancing around with the 12 other little girls in class. They did a lot of different dances including the chicken dance and the elephant walk. The forty minute class went by really fast and she was ready to come back today.

Barnum, Bailey & Ella Circus

Playing Dress-up
Ella the clown
Ella and one of the circus performers

The Contortionist were painful too watch.
These dogs dressed up in dresses, rode scooters and went down slides.

The tigers jumped, danced, hopped and walked around on two legs.
The elephants Ella's second favorite thing after the singing of course.
This was the finale. They shot two people out of a cannon. It's hard to see but in the picture they are the red blurs up in the air.

On Friday night we went to the Barnum & Bailey Circus with the kids and my Mom. Ella was so excited as we were walking into the Sprint Center she kept saying "I'm so exciting" (she meant excited). We arrived early so we could enjoy the All Access Pre-show down on the stage. Although Ella was a little apprehensive of the clowns and all the people down there. But on the way home she said she won't be scared next year and she wants to see the clowns.
Ella and Hudson both did really well considering the show started at 7:00 and that is around their bedtime. Ella was really intently watching the entire show especially when the tigers came out. Even thought the tigers were in a big netted cage she was still unsure. When the horses came out and were spinning in circles she said "that's amazing." She also really enjoyed the dogs dressed-up like princesses going down the slides.
I asked Ella what her favorite part was and she said the singing. Not the amazing animals or death defying tricks but the singing.

Party in the Rain!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Mya!
Face painting
Make sure you stay dry mom.
Hudson didn't mind getting all wet. He loves to swing.

Ella and Nana staying drying under their umbrellas.

We went to Mya's birthday party at the park this weekend. Which was a great idea for the kids except it was raining the entire time. But the kids still had a lot of fun. Ella even got her face painted with a flower and a butterfly. Hudson enjoyed being pushed in the swing by Nana. I didn't realize it was raining that hard until I saw my mom completely dry under her umbrella and my 10 month old soaking wet.

First Week of School

First Day
Second Day
Third Day

I think that she already looks bigger just in the one week she has gone to school. The first day when we pulled up to school she asked is this where my teacher lives. Then the second day she asked is this where my Church lives (because her preschool is at our Church).
Everday when I pick up Ella from school I ask what she did and if she had fun. The stories that she tells me are pretty funny. One day she told me that a boy in her class had a mouse as big as she was but his daddy shrunk the mouse down really small and then the mouse climbed out the window. There always seems to be funny little stories that she tells me.
I am so glad that she loves school. Let's hope she keeps that up for the next 15 years or more.
