Arts, Crafts & Starbucks

Her Valentine Guy she created. She told me she drew him angry eyes
Showing off all her hearts she made and cut by herself
She doesn't smile at the camera very much, so this is a very rare picture
Drinking Mommy's Coffee
Oh, No! He looks like he enjoyed

Ella and I were making decorations for Valentine's Day. While we were doing that Hudson enjoyed playing with Ella's laptop and drinking Mommy's Starbucks (It was completely empty). But he liked pretending to drink coffee like Mommy.

Finally over the Sickness

Our two sickies watching cartoons before bedtime
Hudson learned he can crawl into the bath tub by himself
Feeling good enough to eat
While Ella was sick at home we played Beauty Shop.
She liked to have the washcloth on her head when she was burning up with a fever and she enjoyed laying and watching movies and eating crackers.

Spoke too Soon

When I went to pick Ella up from school they came out and told me she had just thrown up. She didn't seem really sick this morning. I asked her what she ate at school today and she said juice, cheez-its, cookies and cupcakes. That may be the reason she got sick because she ate so much sugar. Then after dinner Hudson got sick again. This is the longest stomach flu ever. Well hopefully we will all be well soon.

Our Sick Little Boy

Our sick little guy
Hudson went up and cuddled with Ella like this and she sweetly patted his back and sang him Jesus Loves You (her version of Jesus Loves Me).
Finally feeling better.
Oh, how I missed those sweet smiles and giggles.

Is Finally Better! Yeah! No more following Hudson around with a bucket and cleaning supplies. Well the doctor's office said it was the Stomach Flu and should only last 24-48 hrs. but apparently Hudson got the rare 72 hr flu. I will spare all the gross details but he is finally feeling better and we managed to only spread the flu to me. Which I am thank full it didn't spread to Ella and John. Now we just need to all get over our colds.

Walt Disney World - Princesses

Our Little Princess
Princess Aurora & Ella
Princess Cinderella & Ella
Princess Belle & Ella
Ella really liked Belle.
Belle even said that they looked alike. Of course that thrilled Ella to think she looked like a Princess.
Ella & Ariel
Ariel wanted to meet Hudson but he wasn't exactly thrilled
Ella playing in the Ariel playground waiting to meet her
Jasmine, Ella & Aladdin
Ella & Mary Poppins
Snow White & Ella
Our last Princess to meet

We went to meet a couple of Princesses and get autographs but that made Ella want to meet all of them and get their autographs. Some of them were quite a long wait. Hudson would start to get a little fussy waiting in line but as soon as he saw the Princesses he just stop and stared. They both were a little star struck. Ella was really cute meeting each Princess she would smile and when they asked her name she gave them her entire full name.
Well amazingly we did get to see all the Princesses.

Walt Disney World

Santa in the Christmas Parade
Riding on the Magic Carpet Ride
Hudson's first time on a carousel and he loved it
Ella and I rode on the Goofy Roller Coaster. It was a fast ride but Ella loved it and kept her hands up the entire time.
Dumbo ride
Mad Tea Party
Main Street at night
Those little white dots on the picture were little snow flakes. It was really beautiful to see it snowing in 70 degree weather.
Cinderella in the night parade

The fireworks were amazing but both kids were clinging on to us
Are we crazy for taking a 3 year old and a 1 year old to Walt Disney World during there busiest time of year? YES! But the kids had a great time. There were so many people there you couldn't walk without being bumped by another person. Ella almost got trampled a couple of times, so John had to carry her.
The lines were extremely long but we did get to go on a lot of rides. Hudson was even able to go on quite a few. But Ella didn't care if she didn't ride on the rides. She was just as happy seeing the Princesses, eating snacks and getting Souvenirs (which she wanted everything she saw). When I asked her what she wanted to do for the day she said "I want a balloon." Pretty hard to disappoint with such low expectations.

Sandy Beach...NOOO!

Family day at the beach
Papa giving Hudson some sea shells
Our cute little statue
Ella searching for sea shells

Ella trying to convince Hudson he can walk on the sand
Baby Hammer Head Shark

Yeah! He can walk on the sand

We went to the beach a couple of times since it was only 10 minutes away. The kids DID NOT like the beach. But we did make them at least feel the water and touch the sand. Hudson would not move at all. Ella eventually did okay and enjoyed looking for sea shells. They both did a little better when they had their shoes and socks on, but Hudson still didn't want to move.
When we did go out to eat we would pick restaurants that were on the water or on the beach. On our last night we went to a place called Sharky's. After we ate we found out why it is called Sharky's because we saw someone catch a baby hammer head shark. It was too little so he threw it back in the water but both kids liked looking at the shark.
