5 Months

Yep he is 5 months already. He is still my happy little smiling guy. He has started sitting up for longer periods of time, although he is still a little wobbly and he has found his feet and he loves to pull his socks off. He still loves his sister and has found that he also loves to pull her hair. Hudson is such a sweet little baby.

Easter 2008

Gramma and Hudson

Easter Dinner with 21 people
Hudson was so hungry he was trying to eat the plate
Ready, Set..............
GO!!!!
Taking it slow.
Yeah I found an egg!
"Orange, I thought this egg was pink."
Ella loved riding on the horse

We spent Easter this year in Hutch. Ella always has a good time down there playing with all of her cousins. It was a little cold for the Easter Egg Hunt but the kids didn't seem to mind. Ella was a little picky with her eggs she only wanted pink or purple eggs. Eventually I think she didn't care since she heard they were filled with candy. She was quite slow on finding the eggs that the other girls started helping her fill her basket. Hudson enjoyed the egg hunt by taking a short little nap. During dinner Hudson was so ready to eat that he tried to put anything in his mouth for him the closest thing was a dinner plate. It is always great spending time with the family.

Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes

Princess Ella & Mommy
Aladdin & Jasmine
Snow White
Belle (Beauty & the Beast)
Ariel (Little Mermaid)
Mulan
Cinderella going to the ball
Snow White, Jasmine & Aladdin
Fireworks at the end of the show

As part of Ella's birthday we got her tickets to the Princess show Disney on Ice. She dressed up as Snow White. She had a lot of fun and everytime a new Princess would come out she would say either "I have that movie", or "I've seen that movie." It was so sweet to watch and listen to how excited she got everytime a Princess would start singing or dancing. Surprisingly she got the most excited when Mulan came out and started singing and dancing. There was a fire breathing dragon that came out and scared Ella and some of the other kids around us. Thankfully Ella didn't understand that the souvenirs were for sale and so she didn't ask for anything. Which was nice since everything was so expensive. She had a lot of fun but was ready to go home when the show was over.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Ella!

We started the morning with shamrock shaped pancakes and bacon. Which Ella kept calling them flowers. Then when I tried to get her dressed in her St. Pat's shirt she decided she wanted to wear her Christmas dress. It was a cold and rainy day and Ella just wanted to stay inside and play games. She was very excited when Gramma & Grampa's presents arrived in the mail. We have stickers everywhere including all over Hudson. We took Ella to Red Robin for dinner. She kept calling the Red Robin (a guy walking around in a robin costume) a Jayhawk. Since it was her birthday they put balloons on her head, sang Happy Birthday and gave her an Ice Cream Sundae. She loved them singing to her. Then when we came back home she had a couple more presents to open, a new princess sofa/bed and another Barbie. She is truly a great blessing and I can't believe my sweet little girl is already 3 years old.

We had Ella's 3rd birthday party at our house on Saturday. She wanted a Princess Barbie Party. She was very excited to start her party. Starting at 6:30 a.m she was looking out the window and saying "Nope, my friends aren't here yet." Ella has so many dresses that we dressed up all the girls as Princesses. They had so much fun they were switching dresses all night. She got alot of great gifts but I think she enjoyed playing with the girls more than the gifts. The boys even had fun watching movies and playing in the tent and the guys disappeared downstairs to watch basketball.

Big Girl, Little Chair

Ella hasn't sat in her highchair for at least a year. She doesn't even like to sit in a booster seat. But since I put the highchair in the kitchen for Hudson, Ella has been asking me if she could eat lunch in the highchair. So a couple of times she has eaten her lunch in the chair and she just looks so big.

Going for a Walk

We took Hudson on his first walk in his stroller. He loved it and Ella loved going on a walk with him. She loves to ride her bike on our walks and she is getting really good and able to pedal all by herself.
