little KU Cheerleader

Ella was all ready to cheer KU into the National Championship game but unfortunately they lost. These pictures were too cute so I still wanted to share them although we are still sad that KU lost. Ella didn't really care about watching them play but she would say "Go KU", and clap and cheer with her pom poms. After months of hating having her picture taken she is know loving to have her picture taken as you probably could tell she loves to model. I guess for KU there is always next year.

Playing Dress-Up

Ella loves to play dress up and here are her new dresses she got for her birthday. Of course Meryn (the doll) had to play dress up. She looks so big and grown up with her little necklace and purse. Her purse contains two bottles for her babies and Meryn. She actually liked getting her picture taken today so I took advantage of that.

Mommy's Little Helper

Well it doesn't seem to take Ella long to get into something or make a mess of something. So I deceided to try and keep her busy doing other things. So she has become my little helper. She will put the groceries away in the pantry, help me sort and fold the laundry, clean the kitchen, and anything else that needs cleaning she will help with. Thankfully she loves to be a big girl and help Mommy and I love it because it keeps her out of trouble. It does take me probably twice as long to get stuff done but that's okay because she is such a sweet little helper.

Ella loved her party. I had put up all the decorations while she was taking her nap and when she saw all the balloons and presents she was a very excited two year old. We had a Little Mermaid birthday party which Ella picked out. She loves that movie. She had a lot of fun playing with her cousins but she really liked trying on all her new clothes. As you can see her modeling them in the pictures. Her presents included many cute little outfits, a Princess Dress (with a hat), a lot of KU clothing, Stuffed animals, books, Movies, Jewelry.......etc. She is such a true girly-girl she loved dressing up and putting on her new jewelry. It was little sad because all dressed up she didn't look like my baby anymore. She looked like such a big girl. If you asked her how old she was she would say "two" but she would put up 5 fingers. We still are working on that. Also, Happy 32nd Birthday Brian I hope you enjoyed your Batman themed birthday party.

My sweet little girl turned two today. She is such a sweet and precious gift. She is such a little independent girl except when she needs praises from mommy & daddy. The past two years have really gone by fast but we are truly blessed with Ella and her sweet but sometimes a little too independent soul.

SURPRISE!!!!!

We're Having a Baby.

We have been blessed again with a precious little bundle of joy on the way. I am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and due around October 20th. Sorry to anybody that we may have told a little white lie too. We wanted to make sure the baby was healthy before we told our families. So far everything is going good and I am well into the day long morning sickness. But I am thankful for everyday of sickness because that is a good sign so I can't complain too much about being sick.

Ella loves to be in the kitchen helping me make dinner. She loves to be my little helper. So for Christmas we bought her a little play kitchen and of course she had to have the apron, oven mitts and chef's hat.
