Mystery Bump Still!

Ella modeling her hospital gown. Thankfully she is such a little trooper through all this.

More doctors, more ultra sounds and still no diagnosis. Every time we go to the doctor they bring in a bunch of nurses and doctors to poke and prod Ella's bump. It is apparently a medical marvel. So as of right now they still don't know what the bump is or what is causing it. So the next stop for us is plastic surgery. Which has me really nervous but they say it will be at least 6 months before they do the surgery because of all the consultations that we will have. But they did say after she has surgery they will biopsy the bump to hopefully tell us what that darn bump is.

Walking Already?

Yep, he is. Well our little guy has been walking for over a week now. He is getting too big. He is actually now walking more than he is crawling, but he still hasn't mastered walking with his shoes. Sorry no video. I haven't quite figured out how to do that yet.

A Great 6th Anniversary!

Our 6th Anniversary
Our Honeymoon six years ago

My beautiful flowers waiting for me in the room
VIP Movie Theater
Dessert at Skies (our waitress apparently didn't know how to focus)

We started our anniversary early on Saturday when my mom came and picked up the kids. After John got off work we went and checked in at the hotel. The hotel didn't have the room John requested so they upgraded us to a big suite. It was two huge rooms. Then we went to a VIP Movie Theater to watch the Dark Knight. The theater was great with comfy recliner chairs and a waitress that would bring you drinks and food. It was a great movie to watch in recliners since it was 2 1/2 hours long. We went to dinner at our usual anniversary restaurant J. Gilberts. It was a night of eating which we ended by having dessert at the Skies restaurant. Not a great idea for someone who gets motion sickness. So we ate really fast. Thankfully it was just dessert because I wouldn't have made it through a whole meal. It has been a great and blessed six years. John is a great husband, father and best friend and I can't wait for the many, many, many years we will have together.

Going to Nana's

Ella woke up early as usual except yesterday she was going to Nana's house. I told her to go put some toys in her bag and she actually packed her bag with clothes (and they were actually matching), pillow, blanket and stuffed animals. And she had that all ready by 7:00 a.m. and Nana was not coming till Noon.
It was Hudson's first sleepover at Nana's and anywhere. So it was a little hard for me to let him go. But it was nice to have a night not worrying about kids.
Thank you Mom for watching the kids.

Let's Go to the Ballpark!

We took Hudson to his first Royals baseball game on Sunday. I thought that the weather would be nice and cool but I was wrong. It was really hot and sunny. It brought back memories of the last Royals game that I went to when I was 8 months pregnant and it was about 100 degrees. Our seats were really good and close to the field on the first base side. Both kids wanted to sit on our laps so that added some extra heat to an already hot day. But Ella and Hudson both had fun. We left the game early but we had to bribe Ella with ice cream because she wanted to stay and watch the game. I am glad we left early because the Royals finally won in the 12th inning.

Happy Birthday to Me!

The kids fishing at the pond

The little fish they caught

John surprised me by waking up early and taking Ella to get breakfast and some Starbucks. Then he went to work during the morning but after he got home we went out to Kansas to see my family. We went to my Grandparents and then John, my two brothers, my sister-in-law Kris, Hudson and me went out to eat and my dad was kind enough to watch the older kids so we could have a relaxing meal. After dinner we went back to my grandparents for cake and to play games. While some of us played games, Brent took the kids down to the pond to go fishing. They only caught one very small little fish. Then after a tiring but fun day we headed home.
