Spring Fling Carnival

Going down the slide on the obstacle course

Planting and digging up flowers.

Making Easter Bunnies out of play-doh

Ella's Artwork

The Parent's as Teacher program had what they called "Spring Fling" Carnival. It is for I think up to age 3 or 4. They had at least 15 tables and activities set up for the kids to do. When we first got there Ella didn't want to do anything so we thought we would be leaving fairly soon but then she started doing some of the activities. Soon she didn't even care if we were close she just would walk off to the next activity. Some of her favorites were digging and planting flowers, play doh, catching the duckie (which she would catch them and then give them hugs and kisses and then put them back in the water), the obstacle course (which she really loved the slide) and she even planted a real flower. We wanted her to try some of the art activities which she loves to draw but they were so messy and took to much time. We did get her to paint and everytime she would get even the littlest bit of paint on her hand she would stop painting and have us wash her hands. The handprint artwork was supposed to be made into a butterfly but Ella didn't like having her hand covered with ink so we just got the one. She is a true girly-girl that's for sure. The bunny I wanted her to make because it was cute but she lost interest in making that about as soon as she had begun. She ended up having a really good time and didn't want to leave.
