I was cooking dinner and I came out to the living room and found Ella laying on the couch covered up with a blanket. I guess she was tired.

John was going on a one day trip to help his Grandparents move. So Ella thought she was going with him. She was all packed and ready to go. She was pulling that bag all around the house.

Ella has her own subscription of Country Magazine from Grampa & Gramma but when she is done reading that she likes to read Mommy's National Geographic. Ella really just loves to read anything. She was so cute looking at this magazine she was sitting on the couch with a blanket over her legs flipping through the pages. When she saw a picture she would say "ook Mommy, ook" (that's how she says look).

Little Artist

Ella loves to draw and color so for Christmas we gave her an Aquadoodle mat. Which she just loves. She is always drawing on it or tracing her toys on it. It is her entertainment for about 20 minutes at a time, except Mom or Dad needs to be drawing with her and praising her for her beautiful drawings. When I ask her to write her name she says "okay" and starts scribbling something which she apparently thinks is her name but she is at least trying.

It's hard to imagine that my little baby is almost two. She is growing up too fast. I put her hair in pigtails for the first time and she hates for me to put them in her hair but she loves them once they are done. She looks so big with her pigtails. Now when we take pictures of Ella she loves to give us different looks such as cheesy grins or teeth baring smiles. She has such a little personality. She is such a wonderful blessing.

We had our monthly family get together last night and it is always so much fun for the kids and the adults. Most of the girls had fun playing dress up. When Ella wasn't playing dress up she was pushing a baby in a stroller and her cousin Meredith. They always play good together and they took turns pushing each other around in the stroller.
