Pictures from the past couple weeks

Ella & Hudson playing school. Ella is really into trying to teach Hudson.
One morning before church the kids were sitting on the couch and Ella was reading a book to Hudson.
Playing Library and using remotes as their scanners.
Our crazy little sleeper.

I had to get these pictures on here too show how cute they are when they are getting along and playing good together. They both have such a good imagination and come up with such creative little games.

Swimming Party

Our little Miss Cautious finally went down the kiddie slide.
Hudson started eating the cake with a fork but finished with his hands.
Ella, Lucy and (the birthday girl) Gwen

Saturday we went to a pool party for Ella's friend Gwen. It was a hot day perfect for swimming.

Ella enjoying the sparklers, but Hudson didn't want anything to do with the sparklers.

Since it was raining on 4th of July. My family rescheduled their fireworks for Friday night. The kids were really excited to see another fireworks show.

Enjoying Smores.
Doing the Zip line in the rain.
Wednesday was a very busy day. We started the day early and had breakfast and then we headed to Salina to go to the Zoo and Museum. The kids had a blast at the zoo and museum. On our way home we stopped by and saw Great Grandpa Tucker's grave. Then we headed to Grandpa's church for the kids to perform and talk about their week at Camp Gramma. After church we headed to the bridge one last time and then home to the bonfire. It was a very exhausting day and after the bonfire I was ready to go to bed but the kids were ready to enjoy some more fun. Ella loved the Zip line and trampoline.

Camp Gramma 2010 Day Two

One of the kids favorite things to do every year is to walk on the bridge and try to get the cars to honk.

Gramma and the three youngest "campers"
Ella went fishing but she didn't catch anything and after about an hour of trying she was done.
Taking a water break.
In the short break we had Hudson enjoyed the kiddie pool. Like his sister he thought safety first with his baby boat.
Our group (minus Hudson) at the farm.
Feeding the goats.

Meryn and Hudson riding on the wagon.

Day Two: We spent the day taking the little kids to the bridge to overlook the highway and try to get the cars and semi's to honk. The older kids went fishing but since we had a few kids who wanted to see where they were fishing we stopped by and Ella was able to try fishing. Then after a quick lunch and some swim time we went to the farm. Hudson was a little timid at first but after awhile he loved watching and feeding the chickens. We ended the night watching a great Christian movie.

Running the track
The kids and some of the grown ups tried kicking a field goal. John had worn flip flops so he kicked barefoot and was the first (of only two) to score a field goal.

The girls camping in the basement since there was over 4" of rain in the backyard.

Well, it's that time of year again. Yep, Camp Gramma time. There was 22 of the 23 grandkids (well 23 of 24 if you count our little one). This year due to all the rain we had to have a change in plans and have the kids "camp" inside. The boys slept in the garage and the girls in the basement. But I don't think they minded to much. They did have a blast playing in the swamp that was once the backyard.
On our first day of camp we had a change of plans and went to the Gym and Football field. The kids all had a blast running around playing dodge ball, kick ball, trying to make a field goal and some even ran the track. It was nice to have John there for the first day but he then had to go back home to work.
