Although two extremely tired kids and one equally tired mama makes for a little stress the kids still had a blast playing with their cousins and spending time with their grandparents.

Part Two: Zoo & Exploration Place

Hudson just crashed in the stroller. It wasn't a long nap but just enough to wake up and start playing again.

It was definitley the hottest day at 105 degrees but the kids had a great day at the Zoo and Exploration Place.

4th of July Weekend Celebrations

Hudson did much better Saturday night as long as I was holding him. He only sat in his chair for a couple of minutes.

On Friday Phil & Julie came out to shoot off some fireworks. John definitely had more fun with the fireworks than our kids did. Ella liked them okay but Hudson was not a fan of the fireworks he was ready for bed.

Then on the 4th we went to my Grandparents with my family. We had fun playing wiffle ball, swinging, and of course eating. Ella & Hudson didn't even stop long enough for me to take a picture of them together. Hudson did much better and wanted me to still hold him but he watched them and even smiled and clapped at some of the big fireworks.

Only one hour left in the car and they were being sweet and holding hands.

After Omaha we went to Marcus, Iowa. For the Neir Family reunion. It was held at a community center with a park outside for the kids to play. It was great to see the old Neir farmstead and meet all the relatives we had never met. Ella & Meredith the entire weekend had so much fun switching clothes, pajamas, shoes and even booster seats. Hudson also had a lot of fun playing with his friend Brooklyn. Our Hotel and the weather was great the entire weekend.
