Miscellaneous from the Week

Hudson and his Monkey Balloon

Ella made this Hand Wreath
Making Gifts for her Teachers
Santa is not something we encourage Ella to believe in, but I was just so proud of my 4 year old's writing skills I had to show the letter she wrote him.

Oh No! Another Laptop Addict

Ella loves her new laptop. She plays it almost nonstop. When Daddy got home from work she couldn't wait to sit next to him and work on her laptop just like him.

Playing in the Snow!

Just taking off and enjoying the snow.
Ella wanted to play in the snow but once she got out there she was ready to go back inside.
Hudson really wanted to swing in his car swing but with all his snow gear he couldn't' fit and he was very upset.
They both love to make tracks in the snow.
Hudson Loved, Loved, LOVED the snow. At first he wasn't so sure but then he just took off running and loved it. We didn't stay out too long because it was below freezing out, but when it was time to go in Hudson was not happy.
Ella liked the thought of playing in the snow but once she was outside she was ready to be back inside. She's all girl.

Happy 30th Birthday, John!

My wonderful husband turns 30 today.
We spent most of his birthday freezing at the Chiefs game with Roger (it was a birthday present from Roger). Even though we were frozen and the Chiefs lost badly we had good seats and had a blast. Now we are just relaxing watching KU win their basketball game.

John's 30th Surprise Party

The birthday boy
John was a good sport and even wore the dealer hat
Us girls even played some cards
Our Poker players
All in!
All partied out
Grand Prize for the Poker Tournament (Just kidding)

His Birthday Cake
Greg our Videographer (Thanks, Greg)
Wearing one of his gifts
Brittany our poor babysitter with all the kids minus two that had already left.

I had a surprise party for John's 30th at his work in the warehouse, and to say that John was surprise was an understatement. He was completely shocked. It was a great night and he was also surprised because his parents and sister and brother-in-law were able to make it to his party. We all had a great time. Thank you to everyone for coming and helping out.

Ella's Christmas Program

Ella reciting her verse "Behold an Angel of the Lord stood before them"
Do you know why it's Christmas?
O Come let us Adore Him
For He Alone is Worthy
It was Ella's Christmas program. She was great she had a bible verse to memorize and she also had a line in the program. She is such a little performer.
