Ella's Dance Recital

Ella had her first dance recital this weekend. It was a busy weekend with rehearsal on Friday night and recital on Saturday. They didn't allow pictures too be taken at the recital so these pics are from the recital Friday night. It was a very long recital and Ella's group was second too last, which put them performing at around 9:45. They did a tap routine about 4 1/2 minutes long to a song from Annie get your gun. She was a little nervous to go on the stage without her teacher, but she did great. Now she can't wait to dance on the big stage again.

Potty Training Hudson?

Hudson has been taking his diaper off and saying potty, all the time. He wants to be like his big sister. So I started potty-training him. He still seems a little young still but he has had some success. But as you can tell from the pictures he likes to be completely naked when he goes potty which is a little tiring since he goes in there at least 20 times a day and he doesn't really like the little potty he likes to use the big potty just like Ella.

Who knows maybe he will be potty-trained in time for Camp Gramma? :)

Yes, it was cold and rainy but the pool was heated. Hudson wanted to swim but he was freezing and with all the splashing kids he didn't like getting soaked. The rain didn't stop the 23 kids from swimming or playing.
