Playdate at Deanna Rose Farmstead
Ella and Mya going for a ride.
This was the last picture of the day and she was ready to go.
Ella and I had a playdate at the Deanna Rose Farmstead with my cousin Amber and her little girl Mya. Ella loves playing with Mya they are about 4 or 5 months apart. Although Mya is more brave about feeding the animals than Ella. Ella did try a couple of times but she didn't like the animals licking her hand (which I can't blame her). We thought if we put the food in a cup the animals would eat it out of the cup. No they would just take the whole cup. She really didn't like when they would come up really close and try to get the food out of her cup. So she gave her food to Mya. We went on a hayride that Ella really enjoyed. Ella had a fun day as long as the animals stayed away from her.

Tunnel Voyage
We took Ella to a place called Tunnel Voyage. They have obviously tunnels and other activities for kids to do. They had a section just for toddlers. We were the only ones there for about 30 minutes which was kind of nice. Ella didn't want to go in the tunnels or down the slide unless Daddy went with her. It was a pretty tight fit for John since it is supposed to be for ages 4 and under. She eventually warmed up and played in the tunnels by herself but she wouldn't go down the slide. She really enjoyed the Pirate ship ride that was really just like a big swing. She is a bit of a perfectionist when she was playing in the ball pit she would throw out all the balls that were broken. Then we spent some time in the arcade winning cheap prizes that Ella loved picking out.

Our day at the Zoo
She loved the train ride.
Koala's sleeping in a tree
These are some Meerkats longing to be outside
Some Kangaroo's laying around
We took Ella to the zoo yesterday and she was such a good girl. We were hoping it wouldn't be that busy but when we got to the zoo there was already about 25-30 school buses. But once your in the zoo it didn't seem that crowded. We were worried Ella would want to get out and walk around but she just stayed in her stroller except when we took the train ride (which she loved). On the train ride we actually saw two Kangaroos boxing each other. The Koalas which is the big attraction at the zoo wasn't that big. Ella didn't even really pay much attention to them. Just a warning to those who haven't been to the Kansas City zoo do not go across the Swinging Bridge if you are pregnant, get motion sickness or have a baby in a stroller. After we went across the bridge I was about to lose my breakfast and Ella probably had a headache because her head kept hitting the side of her stroller. Ella really enjoyed the zoo and she was such a sweet angel. After we went to the zoo and Ella had a good nap we went to see Ella's new cousin Brooklyn. Ella loved her new baby cousin. She would hug and kiss her and she even picked out a new stuffed animal and gave it to her. We had a fun filled day.
Ella's Train Station
John got Ella this train set and another train set when we got home from Florida. He also got her 9 battery-powered trains to go with the tracks. She loves trains and is always talking about them. She will even wake up and start saying choo-choo. These pictures do not even show all of the tracks that she has. It takes up about half of our living room. Ella loves playing with it and even when she is not playing with it the trains need to still be going. We have already gone through alot of batteries.

Family Day
Ella is not concerned at all that a shark is about to eat her.
Ella loved playing inside the mermaid house.
She wasn't really excited to ride this dolphin.

We took Ella to the Under the Sea exhibit at Crown Center. At first she was a little intimidated by all the bigger kids running around but she warmed up and then she didn't want to leave. After we left there we took Ella to Fritz's to eat dinner. She loves train so we knew she would love this place. A train brings you your food. Thankfully the restaurant wasn't very busy because Ella was very loudly saying "choo, choo" every time she saw a train. She was having so much fun she didn't even take time to eat.
